Carbon footprint calculations have also been made for some parts and programs, specifically for the customer Safran.

Also, during 2022, the "Let's talk about carbon" project was deployed, thanks to this, the Environment area reflected with the rest of the company's departments on their decisions's impact on climate change and the carbon footprint indicator.

In addition to greenhouse gas emissions, most of the facilities produce emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are particularly significant at the Alcalá de Guadaira and Tres Cantos facilities. In this regard, we operate in accordance with Royal Decree 117/2003, on the limitation of emissions of volatile organic compounds due to the use of solvents in certain activities.

With regard to the control of atmospheric emissions, in 2022 measurements were taken at the Aerópolis facility in order to obtain authorization as a potentially atmospheric polluting activity. All measurements were in accordance with the legally established limits.

Furthermore, in order to comply with the REACH regulation, substances subject to authorization were measured at the Ircio, Assembly and Ayuelas plants.

In terms of noise emissions, periodic acoustic measurements are carried out in all work centers, complying with the established limits.

In relation to the previous measurements taken at the Boecillo facility, in which the levels were exceeded, the action plan specifically designed for this situation has already been executed in its entirety, pending verification of compliance with the levels by an independent entity, as required by law.

Light pollution at the Aciturri facilities is not considered significant, as it is similar to the lighting in the surrounding areas, which is necessary for walking around. Therefore, no specific actions are taken in this regard.
