All waste generated in Aciturri's production plants is segregated at source and delivered to authorized waste operators, who ensure the most appropriate and specific treatment, according to its nature. In all cases, we seek the management that reduces the environmental impact of the waste, avoiding, as far as possible, its disposal in landfills.

48. It includes all chips generated other than stainless steel, Inconel and titanium.
During 2022, Aciturri has worked on its reduction targets for the different types of waste, mainly based on the search for new treatment methods. For example, the reuse of leftover carbon fiber in non-aerospace applications, or the recycling of sludge from EDM machines for metal recovery. In addition, the organization is pursuing the substitution of less aggressive cleaning solvents, minimizing their environmental impact and the waste they generate. We are also working to improve the segregation of non-recoverable waste, through new segregation methods, staff awareness, etc.
None of the activities carried out by the company generate waste, so no actions are taken in this regard. There are no collective canteens.

49. Material recycling is performed in all cases. The amount of packaging waste generated is calculated based on the fact that 60% of all packaging becomes waste in all plants, except for logistics, where this applies to 100% of the packaging.
